One hundred children and their families from the Alum Rock School District, will now have access to a computer lab at the Cassell Center in East San Jose, used for after school programs to promote learning and development, specifically: math, science, technology, language, and decision-making skills. Families become members of the SJB Child Development Centers (SJB) by registering and enrolling in programs that are critical and essential to accessing early education, food programs, health referrals and support services catered to each child. Current computers used for enrollment are on the brink of crashing, rendering SJB’s services inaccessible without the appropriate working technology. We were able to donate 10 full computers to meet their needs.
